In preparation for the upcoming curriculum-review cycle, the Curriculum and Policy Development Office has been working hard to bring instructors some great new features to help navigate the curriculum process.
A brand-new Curriculum SharePoint site includes due dates, resources, a robust document library and how-to videos that help users navigate Curriculog and other processes. The videos, including Navigating the Curriculum SharePoint site, are created in-house by the CPD staff. Check the SharePoint site often for new content.
Curriculog forms and process steps have been streamlined and clarified, and CPD and Academic Affairs staff and student employees are working hard to build the curriculum database. This database will house all current course information and be used for course reference as well as the import location for Curriculog course modifications. While the database is not quite complete, hundreds of courses are available for importing into Curriculog. If a course is unavailable, contact Erica Buckland Anderson, associate director of curriculum and catalog, at ebucklan@msudenver.edu, for access. More information on the reference portion of the database will be made available later in the academic year.
Finally, the CPD staff has created a curriculum and policy-development newsletter to be distributed regularly throughout the year. The inaugural edition is available on the SharePoint site and will also be sent to the curriculum mailing list. Click here to subscribe. The newsletter and SharePoint site are the CPD’s official means of communication to share important information with the University community.
If you have any questions about curriculum, please contact Buckland Anderson at ebucklan@msudenver.edu.
