Overhead image of man using a laptop computer, words Technically SpeakingBeginning July 25 at 5 p.m., MSU Denver Information Technology Services (ITS) will be replacing components of the University’s core networking infrastructure. During this time, all locally-hosted MSU Denver web and network services—including Banner, network drives, and the MSU Denver website—will be unavailable. Externally hosted services, such as Office 365, Blackboard, and Canvas, will still be operational, but will not be accessible via the Student and Faculty & Staff Hubs. ITS anticipates the work will be complete at 10 p.m.

In preparation for this event, ITS will freeze all firewall changes/requests from July 18-27. Any requests submitted in this time frame will not be addressed until after the work is complete and the freeze ends.

Since Office 365 will still be operational, users who access their email through a mobile device or a mail client, such as Outlook, should not experience any problems. If you need to access your email, OneDrive, Teams, or other Office 365 services through the web, remember you can always log in directly at email.msudenver.edu.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the ITS Service Desk at 303-352-7548, submit a ticket through support.msudenver.edu, or email support@msudenver.edu from your MSU Denver email account.
