CASE – a global nonprofit association dedicated to educational advancement – granted its 2020 CASE Platinum Award for Best Practices in Alumni Relations to the MSU Denver Mug Club on Wednesday for its submission MSU Denver Mug Club: Brewing Up Scholarships.
Each year, the CASE Platinum Awards recognize “the best-of-the-best programs and practices in global educational advancement.” Entries are first judged at the local level, after which two finalists in each category from CASE Europe, CASE Asia-Pacific and all eight districts compete in an international second round to determine the winners.
The MSU Denver Mug Club is an on-campus program facilitated by Alumni Relations in conjunction with campus partner the Tivoli Brewery Co. Lifetime memberships combine exclusive benefits at the Tivoli Taphouse with the satisfaction of supporting scholarships for students majoring in Brewery Operations.
To celebrate this amazing accomplishment, the Mug Club is creating a limited-edition platinum pint glass that will serve as the first in a line of exclusive drinkware for the newly launched Mug Club Collector’s Series. When you make a gift of $55 to the Mug Club, you’ll receive a Collector’s Series Platinum 2020 pint glass, a drink chip – redeemable on your next trip to the Tivoli Taphouse – and, if you’re not already a member, a lifetime Mug Club membership. Traditional Mug Club memberships are available here.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Mug Club – alumni, staff, faculty, students, community members and everyone at the Tivoli Taphouse. Your Roadrunner spirit is the reason the now-award-winning Mug Club is a source of support for students and programs at MSU Denver.
Cheers!
