Tune in to national panel discussions on military, national and public service
President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., will join conversation on creating paths for Americans who are eager to serve.

On Thursday, the National Commission on Military, National and Public Service will host Inspired to Serve: A Path Forward. The virtual event includes fireside chats with former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and former Ambassador and National Security Advisor Susan Rice moderated by CNN’s Michael Smerconish, opening and closing remarks from Chairman Joe D. Heck, Ph.D., and panel discussions on the commission’s culture of service vision.
President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., who serves as a commissioner, will participate in the first panel discussion, A Path to Every American Inspired and Eager to Serve, alongside Shaquana Boykin, community leader, Opportunity Youth United and AmeriCorps alum, and Jeff Huber, CEO, Home Instead and co-chair, Serve America Together.
The second panel discussion, Taking Action to Advance Service in America, will feature moderator Steve Barney, commissioner, National Commission on Military, National and Public Service; Barbara Stewart, CEO, Corporation for National and Community Service; Neil Bush, chair, Points of Light; Allyson Solomon, president, National Guard Youth Foundation; and Max Stier, president and CEO, Partnership for Public Service.
