Students notified of fall course delivery

Schedules have been updated to reflect online, face-to-face or hybrid classes.

Based on a careful analysis of classroom space conducted by Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Department of Facilities, the University has determined that only a small number of classes can be delivered safely and effectively on-campus this fall, while most other courses will be delivered online, and some will combine both on-campus and online instruction.

The Office of the Registrar finished making the course-delivery updates to students’ detailed schedules this week, and an email went out to students enrolled in fall classes Wednesday alerting them to the changes. Faculty were also notified earlier in the week.  

Another email went out Wednesday to students who are not enrolled for the fall but are eligible to, encouraging them to find courses based on their preferred delivery format in the Class Scheduler or make an advising appointment.

Faculty and staff members are encouraged to share this information when they interact with students to support the University’s fall enrollment push.

MSU Denver continues to work with state and city officials, health professionals and Auraria Campus partners to establish protocols for a safe and flexible return to campus for students taking face-to-face courses and the faculty and staff members who support them.
