Close up of hands chopping butternut squash. The Health Center at Auraria continues to offer medical and mental-health services to Metropolitan State University of Denver students, faculty and staff, including COVID-19 testing and clinical assessment.

Most services are now available via telehealth, including free nutrition counseling with registered dietitian nutritionists who are also MSU Denver Nutrition Department professors. The innovative partnership between the Health Center at Auraria and the Nutrition Department supports MSU Denver constituents and offers nutrition students an opportunity to complete the practice hours necessary for graduation. The students help gather information and data and, with the patient’s consent, observe the appointments.

Roadrunners who are interested in nutrition counseling can call the Health Center at Auraria at 303-615-9999 to schedule an appointment.
