Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema was founded in Boulder in 2003 with the support of the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art and the University of Colorado at Boulder. With an expansive definition of dance and an appreciation for highly experimental and interdisciplinary forms, this unique festival exposes diverse audiences to a variety of film, video and performance possibilities.
MSU Denver is a virtual host for the 2020 event, but last year several of the University’s Dance Ensemble students were also Sans Souci Festival performers. The group performed live alongside a film, under the direction of Jeanine McCain (pictured left).
Please contact Nicole Predki, lecturer, Dance, for more information on the festival.
