Students walking on snowy campus. The end of the year is a time for giving back and supporting the causes we hold close to our hearts. Every year, Roadrunners step up to lend their support to Metropolitan State University of Denver students and programs – and 2019 was no exception.

Last year, University Advancement set a record for the most money ever raised during December at MSU Denver. Loyal donors made gifts totaling more than $1.2 million to scholarship funds, Roadrunners Athletics, the Philanthropy Fund, campus departments and more.

December’s generosity topped off an amazing year of fundraising highlights. Throughout 2019, the University Advancement team raised $14,530 for the Student Emergency Fund during Socktober, $5,240 for the Roadrunner Food Pantry on #RoadrunnerTuesday and more than $90,000 for scholarships and programs across campus on the MSU Denver Day of Giving.

There will be endless opportunities in 2020 to show our support for MSU Denver students – keep an eye on the Early Bird for upcoming events. When we work together, we can reimagine what’s possible for our students and for higher education.
