Join MSU Denver Transfer Champions, a group of faculty and staff members who help out transfer students.

Transfer students make up more than half of Metropolitan State University of Denver’s student population and have needs that are different from those of first-time students who enter the University directly from high school. One of those needs is immediate connection to faculty members, departments and resources. Establishing these relationships and connections as soon as possible can help transfer students with internships, graduate-school preparation and career-readiness.
In addition, the transfer process can feel confusing and complex. MSU Denver transfer students indicate that having just one person help them through it can determine whether they have a positive or negative experience transferring in and can factor into whether they persist to graduation.
How can you help? Become an MSU Denver Transfer Champion
MSU Denver Transfer Champions are an all-star roster of faculty and staff members to whom transfer students can go for support. It starts with a 90-minute training about the unique needs of MSU Denver transfer students, helpful resources and best practices for working with and supporting transfers.
