Announcing the 2021 issue of the Rowdy Scholar

The publication represents the best of undergraduate research at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

The Editorial Board of the Rowdy Scholar is excited to announce the publication of its third issue. 

The Rowdy Scholar is an interdisciplinary journal featuring undergraduate research and creative work. Students (including recent graduates) who submit work undergo a rigorous process of review and revision that involves the efforts of faculty mentors, anonymous faculty reviewers and editors. The final product represents the best of undergraduate research at Metropolitan State University of Denver: original analysis, sophisticated methodologies and polished writing across the disciplines. The Editorial Board congratulations this year’s contributors and thanks their mentors for their support!

The Editorial Board encourages faculty members to make their students aware of this opportunity to publish scholarly research and creative work. Students are required to submit work with the support of a faculty mentor who can attest that the submissions meet disciplinary standards and expectations for academic integrity.

Submissions are usually due in February. Current students and recent graduates are eligible to contribute. More information and submission guidelines are available on the Rowdy Scholar webpage.
