University policies advance through inclusive process

Comment on device-security, data and computing-systems protocols.

Universitywide policies are presented to the Metropolitan State University of Denver community for review and open comment as part of the inclusive policy process prior to approval by President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., for operational policies and by the Board of Trustees for governance policies.

The president’s operational policies on Device Security, Data Classification and Acceptable Use of Computing Systems are available for MSU Denver community review and comment through Sept. 15.

President’s Cabinet policy recap

At its Wednesday meeting, the President’s Cabinet voted to recommend approval of University policies on Protecting Children and Minors in University Programs and Electronic Signatures to President Davidson. She recommended development of the accompanying guide and presentation at the September Cabinet meeting prior to approving the proposed Staff Alternative Work Arrangements policy.

Future meetings

The MSU Denver Policy Advisory Council meets from 2-3 p.m. in Jordan Student Success Building Room 440A and via Microsoft Teams on the following dates.
