Find your fit through Campus Recreation
The fitness center remains open at no charge through Aug. 19, and summer fitness programs are available.

Don’t forget that the Metropolitan State University of Denver fitness center, located in the PE/Event Center Building Room 110, is open to employees at no charge through Aug. 19, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. In addition to open hours, Campus Recreation also offers summer fitness programs at the fitness center.
Group Fitness Classes
Boot Camp: This 30-minute class will have you moving with moderate to high intensity.
- Tuesdays
- 12:15 p.m.
Power Hour: During this one-hour class, you will combine bodyweight and weightlifting movements that will benefit your daily activities.
- Wednesdays
- 5:15 p.m.
Circuit Training: Come in and target specific muscle groups in 30 minutes with a circuit-class layout. Great for learning and trying out different fixed machines.
- Thursdays
- 12:15 p.m.
Ask a Trainer
Certified fitness trainers will be available on the weight-room floor ready to answer questions about equipment or exercise.
- Mondays, 7-11 a.m.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Fridays, 3-7 p.m.
Fitness Fridays
Join in for Fitness Friday to take a movement break and meet co-workers in a welcoming fitness environment. Events will take place on Fridays from 1-2 p.m.
- Friday: Campus Hunt (PE 108) – Solve clues and complete challenges around the MSU Denver neighborhood.
- 13: Meditating Movements (PE 111G) – Join in for gentle yoga and mindful breathing. Mats, blocks and blankets will be supplied.
Fitness-equipment demonstrations
