The Center for Teaching, Learning and Design now offers in-person support for all Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty members in addition to virtual drop-in support. Beginning Aug. 23 in Central Classroom 220 (click for map), instructional-design support specialists will provide in-person support from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Need help crafting the perfect discussion question, engaging your students, setting up Microsoft Teams for a synchronous class, managing your Canvas grade book or uploading recordings to Yuja? Choose between in-person and virtual support at your convenience. During these drop-in sessions (no appointment necessary), friendly and knowledgeable instructional specialists will answer your specific questions or challenges related to teaching and learning, Canvas, Teams, Yuja and more.
If in person isn’t the best fit, Roadrunners can continue taking advantage of live online support from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The new and improved Ready website also offers a comprehensive collection of step-by-step written and video tutorials covering common questions about Canvas, Teams, Yuja, teaching-and-design best practices and a variety of other topics. The site was recently overhauled to make finding content easier and browsing tutorials more enjoyable. With more than 160 up-to-date tutorials, it’s an excellent resource for any instructor wanting to expand their teaching skills.
Of course, sometimes we all need help outside of our live and virtual support hours. Please email or leave a voicemail at 303-615-0800, and the team will respond as soon as possible.
