Attention, CLAS faculty and staff

RSVP for the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Faculty and Staff Convocation.

The College of Letters, Arts and Sciences will host its 2021 Convocation for faculty and staff Aug. 17 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Tivoli Turnhalle. All CLAS chairs, directors and full- and part-time faculty and staff members are invited to attend. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m., and the formal program begins at 9:30 a.m. CLAS faculty and staff family should RSVP for the event by Thursday.

The event is an opportunity to gather and celebrate the CLAS community of faculty and staff members who dedicate themselves to educating, mentoring and supporting students. John Masserini, Ph.D., dean of the CLAS, will provide a broad vision for the college and announce a call for participation in two new advisory councils. These councils will provide crucial voices, critical feedback and ambitious ideas for the college’s work in supporting and accelerating the Metropolitan State University of Denver mission, vision and 2030 Strategic Plan.
