July 28, 2021
Faculty and staff members who are interested in working with colleagues across campus to plan, conduct and disseminate research findings are invited to join the Research Incubator Faculty/Staff Learning Community.
The Research Incubator FLC will be a forum where Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty and staff members can discuss research ideas, challenges, potential collaborations and opportunities. The one-year FLC will focus on designing and building a system that matches complementary research skills across disciplines, fosters mentorship and collaboration, and engenders conversations about challenges commonly faced by faculty and staff engaging in research and ways to potentially address these challenges. The FLC will include discussions specific to faculty/staff ongoing or future projects as well as establishing an ongoing association for continued discussions in these areas.
The first meeting of the FLC will be held via Teams on Aug. 6 from 9-11 a.m. To join and receive a meeting invitation, please email FLC co-lead Kristy Lyons, Ph.D., associate professor, Psychological Sciences.
