Campus Recreation reopens July 6

Free memberships available for students and members of staff and faculty.

Campus Recreation is gifting free summer memberships (July 6-August 19) to all staff and faculty members, in addition to students enrolled in the summer or fall semester. Stop by the Fitness Center to activate your membership during operating hours, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Summer programs include:

  • Campus Recreation tours – covering facilities, programs and services
  • Ask a Trainer – an opportunity to ask a certified instructor about form and workouts
  • Group fitness classes – Boot Camp, Power Hour and Circuit Training classes
  • Rock-climbing clinics – Bouldering, Top Rope Climbing and Anchor Building
  • CityScape – urban exploration
  • Outdoor adventures – family-friendly day hikes at Red Rocks and Waterton Canyon
  • Field days – including volleyball, soccer, disc golf, cornhole, bocce, Spikeball, Kubb and Frisbee

Activate your membership today by visiting the Fitness Center during operating hours, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.       

Campus Recreation fall memberships will be extended to Metropolitan State University of Denver alumni and spouses as well as the community at large, including student employees at the University of Colorado Denver, Community College of Denver and the Auraria Higher Education Center.
