University Policy Advisory Council meets Thursday

Discussion continues on president’s protocols on staff alternative work arrangements and sick leave for temporary employees.

University policy graphicAt its next meeting, the University Policy Advisory Council plans to discuss the president’s operational policies on staff alternative work arrangements, including options on remote work and flexible schedules, and sick leave for temporary employees such as affiliate faculty, student employees and contractors.

University policies recommended for review by senior leadership

At its May meeting, the University Policy Advisory Council voted to recommend that the president’s policies on electronic signatures, information-technology accessibility and protecting children and minors in University programs be moved forward for review by senior leadership at an upcoming President’s Cabinet meeting prior to final review and approval by President Janine Davidson, Ph.D.
