In January, Metropolitan State University of Denver debuted the Universitywide Engagement, Leader and Self-identification Survey. The survey sought employee feedback on work experiences, priorities, supervision, team dynamics and more to better understand organizational successes and opportunities for institutional growth and improvement.
Based on feedback provided from our employee community, the University’s engagement index stands at 83.9%, which sets the University on course to achieve an important goal within the 2030 Strategic Plan. Employees reported being engaged in their work and the mission and vision of the University.
Next steps for employees
See the full Universitywide Engagement, Leader and Self-identification Survey results or read the Early Bird to see highlights. If you’re curious to see engagement results specific to your branch or area, contact your supervisor for more information as available.
Next steps for leaders
Following their review of their individual leader results, leaders should have set an engagement leader goal. Those in need of support or more information are encouraged to check out the Universitywide Engagement and Leader Guide.
Next steps for the University
After reviewing the results, the University’s Senior Leadership Team set a collective goal to improve employee recognition. This effort will be led by Stacy Dvergsdal and Ed Brown. Anyone interested in joining the new Employee Recognition Committee is welcome to contact Dvergsdal for more information.
