Close up of a person signing a document. It’s scholarship season, and your help is needed. Current and prospective Roadrunners have submitted more than 3,000 general-scholarship applications for the 2021-22 academic year. Metropolitan State University of Denver is thrilled to see students actively applying for scholarships and is asking staff and faculty members to support the great work of the Financial Aid and Scholarships team by helping to review and score applications. Reviewing scholarships is a great way to learn more about these resources and our amazing students while also supporting educational equity and access.

Jake Beaudrie, scholarship counselor, will provide volunteers with a reviewer manual and training to prepare them for success. All scholarship-review volunteers must sign up by end of day Wednesday, so email Beaudrie to sign up now. Volunteers will help review essays between Monday and May 1.
