Equity Training Series: Walking in her boots

All Roadrunners are invited to a discussion-based lesson with retired Major General Angie Salinas, U.S. Marine Corps, on breaking through the glass ceiling and women in leadership. General Salinas made history when she became the first Latina selected and promoted to the general officer ranks in the Marines. Next week, she joins the Center for Multicultural Engagement and Inclusion and the Urban Leadership Program to share her wisdom with the Metropolitan State University of Denver community. Engage in a dialogue with one of Time magazine’s top 100 most influential people in the world, Ibram X. Kendi, Ph.D. As one of the United States’ foremost historians and leading anti-racist scholars, Kendi has agreed to share his wealth of knowledge in the CMEI and Urban Leadership Program training series.
