Students wearing PPE in a socially distanced nursing class.The Metropolitan State University of Denver Health Institute is hosting a series of events in February and March to promote opportunities for students and give faculty and staff a better understanding of the institute’s programs and offerings.

Faculty and Staff Meet-and-Greet

  • Friday
  • Session 1, 9-9:30 a.m.
  • Session 2, 9:40-10:10 a.m.

Health Scholars Programs Informational Sessions

Current and prospective students can meet Health Center staff and learn more about the Health Careers Opportunity Program, the DACA and Undocumented Student Health Careers Opportunity Program and the Centura Health Scholars Program

Student applications are due by March. 1. Visit the Health Institute website for more information on eligibility, programs and more.

Navigate Your Health Career

  • Feb. 19
  • 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Students interested in health-related fields are encouraged to attend Navigate Your Health Career. The event will highlight various career pathways and outcomes and introduce students to Health Institute departments and industry leaders.

Students can register through Career Link and can contact Ruby Matheny, industry navigator, Classroom to Career Hub, for more details.
