Support services for Roadrunners with disabilities

The Access Center offers resources for students and learning opportunities for faculty and staff members.

The Metropolitan State University of Denver Access Center supports MSU Denver students who have a diagnosed disability or temporary medical condition, offering academic accommodations to help mitigate the adverse effects of a student’s condition that can impede academic success.  

As a reminder, faculty and staff members are obligated to refer students to the Access Center if the student self-discloses a disability and is seeking accommodations. If a student employee is seeking work-related accommodations due to a disability, the student employee should be referred to MSU Denver’s Office of Human Resources. 

Additionally, the Access Center will offer virtual workshops on various topics, including organizational and test-taking strategies along with disability-identity workshops. Visit the center’s events calendar for more information and to sign up to attend.

Faculty and staff members also are encouraged to visit the Access Center website, msudenver.edu/access, to become more familiar with services and to learn how to provide an accessible and inclusive environment for students with disabilities.
