11th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference: A Symposium of Scholarly Works and Creative Projects
Registration and abstract submission open today for the 11th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference: A Symposium of Scholarly Works and Creative Projects. If you have students who completed an exceptional research or creative project in one of your fall courses, encourage them to submit an abstract to present. There is no cost to attend or present, and submissions from all disciplines are welcome. Students graduating this fall are eligible to present their work. Abstracts must be submitted by March 18, and the conference will take place April 22.
Spring-semester workshops
Also encourage students to attend spring workshops. Topics center on conference preparation and include how to write an abstract and preparing poster and oral presentations.
Undergraduate Research Mini-Grants
If your students are working on a research or creative project, encourage them to apply for an Undergraduate Research Mini-Grant by Jan. 28. Students can apply for up to $500 toward supplies or to use as a stipend.
