Roadrunners and Campus Rec members can borrow snowshoes, trekking poles, ice axes, avalanche beacons and more through the break.
December 16, 2021
Stay active, enjoy your favorite winter activities or explore a new cold-weather hobby this break thanks to Campus Recreation’s Outdoor Pursuits program. In appreciation for Roadrunners’ support and partnership, the program is lending equipment over the winter break at no charge.
Metropolitan State University of Denver students, members of the faculty and staff and Campus Recreation members are eligible to borrow two sets of Outdoor Pursuits winter gear. Sets include snowshoes, trekking poles, ice axes, avalanche beacons and more.
Roadrunners must show a current MSU Denver ID or Campus Recreation membership. Supplies are limited, and items are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning today through Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please visit the Outdoor Pursuits Center at PE 002 to request a gear kit and contact Bryan Ferguson for more information.
If you use the gear to have an outdoor adventure, be sure to share your photos and tag @MSUDenverOP on Facebook and @MSUDenverRec on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
