MSU Denver offices to close at 1 p.m. today

Employees are encouraged to use the additional time to relax and rejuvenate.

In recognition of the hard work and dedication of Metropolitan State University of Denver’s nearly 3,000 faculty and staff members, all University offices will close today at 1 p.m. so that Roadrunners can spend a little extra time with their loved ones.  

The University also will be closed Thursday and Friday, and normal operations will resume Monday. 

In a message to employees on Tuesday, President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., encouraged employees to use the additional time to relax and rejuvenate. Employees can also share what they feel thankful for this year — whether it’s an inspiring student, a helpful colleague or a program success — on social media using the #RoadrunnerGratitude hashtag. 

Roadrunners are also encouraged to stay safe this holiday season by doing their part to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
