It’s a challenge for MSU Denver students to focus on their responsibilities and classwork when they are hungry. According to a March survey, 35% of our students experienced food insecurity in the previous 30 days, 39% couldn’t afford balanced meals and 39% worried about running out of food before having the funds to buy more.

On Nov. 30, you can change the lives of Roadrunners facing food insecurity when you help us reach our goal of raising $8,400 in 24 hours to provide 210 students with a week’s worth of groceries. You can directly impact the well-being of our students when you make a gift to the Roadrunner Food Pantry and become a Social Media Ambassador by promoting #RoadrunnerTuesday to your followers on social media. All ambassadors will have a chance to win a prize pack.

Our most vulnerable students rely on the Roadrunner Food Pantry for the nutritious meals they need to thrive during difficult times. During the first two weeks of the fall semester, the food pantry served 490 students; it now sees up to 200 visits each week. Your gift to the Roadrunner Food Pantry on #RoadrunnerTuesday can feed students in need, helping them thrive during difficult times.

Every gift, any amount, makes a lasting impact and allows MSU Denver students to reimagine a future where anything is possible. Together, we can ensure that no Roadrunner goes hungry.
