The Office of Human Resources and IT Services have partnered to improve the employee separation process, including the creation of an Employee Separation Ticket and the removal of the End Employee Job ePAF, or Electronic Personnel Action Form, within the Employee Services Menu.
Effective today, supervisors will no longer need to submit an End Employee Job ePAF to begin the employee separation process. Instead, the supervisor must submit an Employee Separation Ticket and provide the separating employee's NetID, University 900 number, date and time of separation and (for full-time employees) a letter of resignation. An Employee Separation Ticket can be submitted for any classification of employee (professional staff, classified staff, faculty, temporary staff and student-employee).
Once the separation ticket has been submitted, the separating employee and their supervisor will receive a communication from the Human Resources and IT Services. These communications may include but are not limited to instructions regarding hardware drop-off, scheduling an exit interview, turning in office keys and badges, etc. A training guide on how to submit an Employee Separation Ticket can be found on the Office of Human Resources website.
Please contact the Office of Human Resources for more details.
