Exterior of Jordan Student Success Building.Open enrollment for Metropolitan State University of Denver’s benefits-eligible faculty and staff members will end Friday. During this period, faculty and staff members can review coverage options and make benefit changes for 2022 without experiencing a qualified life event. If it has been a year since you reviewed your current benefit elections, Human Resources encourages you to review your elections to ensure that they best meet your needs and those of your family.

All open-enrollment transactions must be input into the electronic system, Solidify. Employees can log into the system using the last four digits of their Social Security number and date of birth. Once an employee has completed their transaction, they will receive an electronic benefit-summary statement.

Employees who have questions are welcome to contact a member of the Human Resources Total Rewards Team. The team will be available for virtual one-on-one appointments all week. Please do not wait until the last minute.

What you need to know:

  • There will be no changes to medical-plan premiums, nor will there be any changes to plan design.
  • There is a slight increase in dental premiums; however, there are no changes to plan design.
  • Vision premiums will decline by 6%, with no changes to plan design.
  • If an employee does not participate in open enrollment, 2021 medical, dental and vision elections will roll forward to 2022. Employees who lost vision coverage for 2019 but want to elect vision coverage in 2022 must participate in open enrollment.
  • Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account elections will not roll over to 2022. To ensure participation in a Flexible Spending Account for 2022, employees must make an election during open enrollment.
