Colorado Rockies 50/50 Raffle knocks it out of the park
Roadrunners raised more than $130,000 during the 2021 baseball season. See even more impressive stats.

The Metropolitan State University of Denver Alumni Association is thrilled to report that the Colorado Rockies 50/50 Raffle hit a home run for Roadrunners during the 2021 Major League Baseball season. This year, 769 volunteers at 84 home games (including All-Star activities) helped raise more than $130,000 to support MSU Denver students and programs.
Some of this year’s stats and highlights:
- Number of participating MSU Denver programs: 27.
- Program of the season: MSU Denver Baseball had 117 volunteers, raising $17,550.
- September had the largest net jackpot in 50/50 history, for a total of $115,894. The prize winner received $57,947, and MSU Denver and the Colorado Rockies Foundation each received $28,973.
- The first-ever All-Star Game 50/50 Raffle raised over $73,000 during three days of activities.
- The Rockies 50/50 Raffle was voted the most well-known community program for the Colorado Rockies.
- Throughout the 2018, 2019 and 2021 seasons, the 50/50 Raffle generated approximately $2.3 million in winnings and community support.
