Smiling graduate posing after Commencement ceremony.Attention faculty and staff members: Today is your last day to get involved in the Fall 2021 Commencement celebration.

Due to limited capacity, Metropolitan State University of Denver cannot allow general admission/spectators from faculty or staff unless they fill a specific role (Platform Party member, marshal, etc.), so this is your chance to celebrate with our amazing graduates.

To volunteer as a marshal, please fill out the Call to Marshals Form by Monday. The regalia-ordering link is posted on the marshal sign-up form.

This year’s ceremonies will be hosted Dec. 17 at the Colorado Convention Center, and masks will be required. Marshals are encouraged to spend the whole day at the event, but those who can participate in only one ceremony are still welcome. Marshals should report to the venue 90 minutes before each ceremony.

The Commencement team will follow up with all volunteers to provide important information related to day-of operations, marshal-role assignment and training. Marshals will be listed in the event program.

Please contact commencement@msudenver.edu for more information.
