President shares holiday video and gratitude for faculty and staff.

December 9, 2019

Dear Roadrunners,

As has become an annual tradition, Metropolitan State University of Denver has put together a fun holiday video this year. I wanted to share it with all of you as way to highlight some of our impressive programs and students, and to celebrate another successful semester.

You are the reason for that success. I continue to be amazed every day by the dedication and achievements of our faculty and staff. As I expressed at the Holiday Fest, I am so grateful for all of the work you do on behalf of MSU Denver. We could not fulfill our mission without your contributions.

Most of all, I want to wish each of you a very joyful and healthy holiday season. I hope you will take some time this break to rest and rejuvenate in whatever way works best for you. You deserve it!

Let’s celebrate the work you do for our students at fall 2019 Commencement on Friday. We have two extraordinary keynote speakers this year. Lt. Gov. Dianne Primavera, our morning speaker, is a longtime public servant and cancer survivor who has championed health issues throughout her career. Our afternoon speaker, Adm. James Stavridis, is a retired four-star officer who served as supreme allied commander of NATO and is regarded as one of the most distinguished admirals of our time.

Thanks again for a great semester, and happy holidays!

Sincerely,

Janine Davidson, Ph.D.

President
