New antivirus software for MSU Denver Macs

Windows Defender is replacing ESET on MSU Denver Mac computers next week.

Windows Defender has replaced ESET as MSU Denver’s antivirus solution for Mac computers. The new software will be pushed out to MSU Denver Macs on Nov. 14. The change will be nonintrusive, so users should not receive any prompts to restart their computer or complete the installation; however, if you receive any notifications from the new software, please pay close attention to them, just as you would with the old software. Once the change is complete, users may notice the new icon (pictured here) on their computer’s menu bar at some point during the day.
