Wednesday
“Zumiriki” screening – Denver Film Festival
Nietzsche famously asked his readers how they would conduct themselves if they knew their lives were going to be eternally repeated. In his second feature film, Oskar Alegría asks his audience to consider whether repetition is even possible, as he tries to repeat the past by returning to the site of his childhood memories. Join a group of philosophers and MSU Denver faculty members for a stimulating discussion of “Zumiriki” and the questions it raises about the nature of time, memory, past and place.
Screening – 2 p.m., Regal UA Denver Pavilions
Discussion – 4 p.m., McNichols Building
