International Education Week

International Student Support within the Office of the Registrar invites students, faculty and staff to celebrate International Education Week. Visit the office, connect with international students and test your international education knowledge for a chance to win prizes. 

• Monday: Connect with International Student Support, 10 a.m.-noon, Jordan Student Success Building lobby.
• Tuesday: Hot Chocolate Social with Roadways into Developing English Skills, 9-11 a.m., JSSB 201.
• Wednesday: Connect to resources with the Center for Multicultural Excellence and Inclusion and sample Bavarian-inspired foods, 2-4 p.m., JSSB 237.
• Thursday: Connect to resources with the Immigrant Services Program and sample Mexican delicacies, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., JSSB 180C.
• Friday: Connect with International Student Support, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., JSSB 160.

Umoja Community Conversations Conference

The Metropolitan State University of Denver Department of Africana Studies is proud to launch the inaugural Umoja Community Conversations Conference and invites all members of the campus community to attend. The theme “Community as a Creative Canvas” highlights the transformative contribution speakers and panelists make to the ever-changing portrait of metropolitan Denver and the MSU Denver campus community.

“Godspell” by John-Michael Tebelak and Stephen Schwartz

MSU Denver’s Theatre and Music Departments present the 2012 revised version of “Godspell,” a musical in which people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using an eclectic blend of songs ranging in style from pop to vaudeville.

MSU Denver Studio Theatre, King Center

Thursday-Saturday, 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are available through the King Center Box Office at 303-556-2296. There will be a $1 transaction fee per ticket purchased. MSU Denver students, faculty and staff must present a valid ID to receive a free ticket.
