Natural gas piping staged in construction area.Thursday through Saturday

Because of snow and inclement weather, work on the project has been delayed and will resume Thursday. While the pipe is being welded and strung out, 10th Street will be closed and pedestrian traffic will be routed around the work area. Parking south of 9th Street Park on the east side will be coned off on Champa Street until work is complete.

Saturday

Boring and pipe-pulling work will occur Saturday down the pedestrian walkway on the north side of the Science Building. A portion of the parking lot outside the library will be used as a staging area for the boring machine. The Americans With Disabilities Act parking spaces, ADA ramp, loading dock and dumpster will remain accessible throughout.

The project team appreciates your patience, understanding and cooperation to help maintain a safe environment during construction.
