Auraria Campus construction update
Learn which areas will be affected this week by the conversion to a cost- and energy-efficient natural-gas system.

Through Friday
Construction activities will take place this week along Champa Street on the north side of the Cherry Creek Building, beginning at the traffic circle on St. Francis Way and continuing west toward 9th Street.
UPDATE: Boring, potholing and pipe pulling will also take place on Champa St. between 9th Street Park and 10th Street. on Wednesday and Thursday. Parking on Champa Street south of 9th Street Park on the east side will be coned off on Wednesday and Thursday.
Saturday
Work will begin to connect the new natural-gas line to the Science Building. This will include potholing, boring and pipe-pulling along the pedestrian walkway on the north side of the Science Building.
A portion of the parking lot outside the Auraria Library will be used as a staging area for the boring machine. The Americans With Disabilities Act parking spaces, ADA ramp, loading dock and trash Dumpster will remain accessible throughout the project.
