Limited-edition Metropolitan State University of Denver socks are flying off the shelves. In a little more than one week, Socktober has raised over $6,000 for the Student Emergency Fund and we reached our initial goal of 150 donors.
But we’re not stopping there.
Financial emergencies are the main reason students stop pursuing their educational goals. At MSU Denver, we are committed to supporting our students through difficult times. The Student Emergency Fund offers students the opportunity to apply for a one-time emergency stipend of up to $500. Between March and July, 24 students were approved for assistance. With your help, even more students can reach their goal of graduating and earning a degree.
There is still time for you to let our students know we’re with them every step of the way on their MSU Denver journey. When you make a $25 gift to the Student Emergency Fund during the month of Socktober, you and a student in need will receive a pair of MSU Denver socks to keep you both warm during the cold months ahead.
You and MSU Denver make a perfect pair, and with your help, all of our students will have the opportunity to reimagine what is possible for their futures.
