Metropolitan State University of Denver Homecoming is right around the corner, and the campus community is ready to get ROWDY!
Earlier this year, the decision was made to move Homecoming from spring to fall in an effort to harness the excitement of a new school year, take advantage of cooperative weather and celebrate a new season of Roadrunners Athletics. Now, each fall, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University will be able to look forward to a week full of Roadrunner spirit.
Last week, we told you about some of the exciting events taking place during Homecoming Week, Sept. 30-Oct. 6. Today, we’ve got even more!
Additional Homecoming fun will include:
- Homecoming Pancake Breakfast: Sept. 30, 9-11 a.m. in the Tivoli Turnhalle. The first 200 Roadrunners will receive a limited-edition Homecoming 2019 mug.
- Roadrunner Jam – Tailgate Party: Oct. 4, 1-4 p.m. at the Regency Athletic Complex. Come to the Regency Athletic Complex for a tailgate party before the home soccer games for yard games, free food, MSU Denver swag and a live band!
- Students vs. Alumni Kickball game takes place at 2 p.m. Alumni who want to participate should contact Brandi Rideout, director of alumni relations.
And don’t forget: You have until Friday to show your Roadrunner pride and sign up for the Homecoming Office Decorating Contest!
