Metropolitan State University of Denver is partnering with Instructure to integrate campuswide use of the ePortfolio and assessment system Portfolium.
In fall 2015, a group of four programs – Journalism and Media Production, Health Professions, Industrial Design and the Individualized Degree Program – adopted the Portfolium platform to pilot online portfolios for their majors. And in May 2018, Roadways began piloting the use of online portfolios with new students at orientation as a component of their SOAR and student-success initiatives.
Building on these successful initiatives, we are opening up Portfolium access to the entire MSU Denver community.
For students, Portfolium provides an avenue to celebrate their success – a lifelong ePortfolio that will showcase their academic work, skills, experiences and professional accomplishments to prospective employers. For faculty and administrators, Portfolium’s assessment capabilities will work seamlessly with Blackboard to follow student progress, capture and report learning-outcome data and inform programmatic improvement efforts.
Employees and students new to the platform will soon receive their email invitation to log in. For more information on Portfolium, contact Beverly Andes.
