Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty and staff members are invited to attend a Faculty and Staff Mixer on Aug. 15. Hosted by President Janine Davidson, Ph.D.; Vice President for Student Affairs Will Simpkins, Ed.D.; and Provost Vicki Golich, Ph.D., the event gives faculty and staff a chance to mingle and reconnect before together attending Convocation: Roadrunner Rally. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided, and drink tickets will be available.

As a special perk, event organizers are partnering with the Mug Club to offer $5 off memberships at the Tivoli Brewing Co. at 4 p.m. on the day of the event. Attendees can also enter a raffle at the mixer to win a free Mug Club membership.

Convocation: Roadrunner Rally officially welcomes new and transfer students to the University community. As the event can have an enormous impact on a student’s sense of belonging and confidence, the Roadrunner Rally committee asks all faculty and staff members to participate. Please note that those who attend the mixer also are expected to attend Roadrunner Rally – and show their pride by wearing Roadrunner Red gear. Stay tuned to the Early Bird for more event details.
