Beginning today, the Early Bird, Metropolitan State University of Denver’s daily employee communication, is available to our hundreds of dedicated student employees.
To our new readers, welcome to the Early Bird flock and thank you for your contributions to MSU Denver. Here is why you’ll want to make reading the Early Bird a part of your daily routine.
1. The Early Bird is the University’s official means of communication to MSU Denver employees.
The Early Bird’s goal is to keep all University employees in the loop on important topics. Consisting of three to five brief articles, the publication covers employee compensation, policy updates, breaking news, upcoming events, campuswide initiatives, hiring announcements, employee profiles and more.
2. The Early Bird takes weekends off too.
The standard Early Bird is emailed directly to all employees Monday through Thursday. Friday editions feature a Photo of the Week that captures a great Roadrunner moment and allows us to tell the MSU Denver story through a different lens. Make sure to check in daily!
3. As an MSU Denver employee, you are invited to submit article ideas and feedback.
The Early Bird offers a number of regular weekly and monthly articles. Readers can find important technology updates in Technically Speaking; staffing announcements in Arrivals and Departures; applause for students, employees and alumni in Kudos; and much more. However, we always welcome suggestions and comments. Contact earlybirdeditor@msudenver.edu if you have a story idea, or share your thoughts on an existing article by using the Disqus field below each story.
