Employees enrolled in the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield health-insurance plan will soon see a change to their pharmacy benefits. Beginning Monday, IngenioRx will manage all Anthem pharmacy benefits. The two companies have provided a transition guide (emailed to all Metropolitan State University of Denver employees May 17) to ensure that all employees maintain prescription coverage throughout the process.

To aid in the transition, MSU Denver  employees enrolled in Anthem are encouraged to ensure that their pharmacies have the most recent Anthem ID card information on file. This will help in processing prescriptions quickly and accurately. If the issue date on the back of your Anthem card is later than September 2018, please request a new ID card online by logging in to www.anthem.com and clicking on “Request ID Card.” Enrollees can also use the Anthem Anywhere mobile app and the digital ID card straight from their smartphone at the pharmacy counter. If you have any questions, please call the Pharmacy Member Services number on your ID Card.

All Anthem members, including those who use Express Scripts Home Delivery Pharmacy or Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, can find more detailed information and next steps in the May 17 employee email. For specific questions, please contact the MSU Denver Benefits Team by emailing HR-Communications@msudenver.edu.
