Five MSU Denver employees posing with newly planted treeThe polar vortex may have derailed our original April 11 Roadrunners Give Back Day 2019, but Roadrunners are eager, tenacious and ready to serve. Projects that were affected by inclement weather have been rescheduled for late May and early June, so please register now.

Roadrunners Give Back Day projects give Metropolitan State University of Denver employees the opportunity to serve together on a variety of needs, including hunger, early-childhood education, school and neighborhood refurbishment, supporting veterans and more. Don’t forget that MSU Denver faculty and staff will be given four hours of release time to participate.

New dates:

  • Girls Inc.: Tuesday
  • Food Bank of the Rockies: May 22
  • Denver Botanical Gardens: May 22
  • Greenway Foundation: late May
  • Denver Health: May 22
  • Servicios De La Raza: late May
  • Center for the Visual Arts: May 28
  • Denver Public Library: June 5
  • Florence Crittenton: early June

Please note that several projects have already been rescheduled and completed, including the Volunteers of America lunch assembly at the Hospitality Learning Center and planting trees with the Park People.
