Metropolitan State University of Denver employees can now upload corporate-card expense and travel receipts anywhere anytime with Chrome River SNAP.
The mobile app, part of MSU Denver’s new cloud-based system for managing expense reports, allows users to take a photo of a receipt and submit the image directly to the Chrome River Expense Receipt Gallery. Uploaded images are available immediately and can be added to any pre-existing or new expense report within Chrome River Expense.
“I love the functionality,” said Molly Daugherty, accounting-services office manager. “Being able to take a picture of your receipt and push one button to upload it is the best.”
Once receipt images are uploaded to the Expense Receipt Gallery, they are automatically deleted from the user’s phone, freeing up device storage space. To avoid cluttering the user’s personal photo gallery, Chrome River SNAP does not mix receipt images with the user’s personal photos. If users lose connection, the image will remain in Chrome River SNAP until the device regains connection and will then upload automatically.
