A look at last year’s Professional Development Conference by the numbers.

A dedicated committee of faculty, administrators and classified staff brings the Professional Development Conference to life each year. These Roadrunners oversee the entire conference from conceptualization to implementation, including selecting the keynote speaker, presenters, theme and more. Committee members are excited about professional development and improving campus culture. The conference may be one day, but the work behind it lasts an entire year. Check out some fun facts about what went into making the 2018 PDC a reality. 

When asked about their favorite part of the 2018 Professional Development Conference, here is what some of the PDC committee members had to say:

"I loved that PDC helps build community, provides opportunity for people to present who otherwise may not have had the chance and allows us as an institution to learn together. I also specifically loved the inspirational aspect of the 2018 conference. I think defining ourselves by our purpose rather than title or anything else is so important. We are here to serve students."
