Wednesday is Decision Day across Colorado

Faculty and staff, don’t forget to wear your alma mater, military or MSU Denver gear to encourage young people to reach higher.

Student wearing Decision Day t-shirt with wordsWednesday is Decision Day! The Colorado Department of Higher Education event honors the opportunities in all pathways — whether students attend a university, community college, private occupational school or apprenticeship or serve in the military — and recognizes high school seniors who have spent months researching options, applying to programs and filing the FAFSA. Decision Day celebrates their hard work and recognizes the achievements of all students.

As in years past, Metropolitan State University of Denver and the CDHE encourage students, faculty, staff and community members to wear gear from their alma mater, favorite school (hint, hint), or future program on Decision Day to support students’ education aspirations. If you do, be sure to let us know on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or Snapchat — and use the hashtag #DecisionDayCO.

Learn more about Decision Day, and check a proclamation by Gov. Jared Polis in support of the initiative.
