Recognize outstanding Roadrunners

Nominate MSU Denver’s dedicated staff members and student employees for awards in leadership and excellence.

Staff awards

The newly formed Staff Senate has created an award to highlight amazing Metropolitan State University of Denver staff members. The Roadrunners Who Soar: Overall Staff Excellence Award recognizes Roadrunners’ outstanding work on campus. The award is open to any staff member who has worked at MSU Denver for at least one semester.

One winner will be selected in each of the following categories:

• Administrator
• Classified
• Student employee

The awards will be presented April 8 at the Roadrunners Who Soar awards ceremony, and nominations are due by March 13. Submit nominations today, and contact Metza Templeton for more information.

Student awards

Staff and faculty are also encouraged to recognize deserving students and groups in the annual Student Involvement & Leadership Awards.

Each year, more than 35 individual students and student groups are recognized for their efforts in creating community at MSU Denver through the Student Involvement & Leadership Awards. This year’s ceremony will take place April 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Tivoli Turnhalle. Families and friends are encouraged to attend and celebrate the accomplishments of our outstanding student leaders.  

Nominations for Student Organizations, Student Employees and Overall Leadership are due March 20 at midnight.
