Bestselling author to visit campus

Tommy Orange to speak at St. Cajetan’s Event Center on April 2.

Tommy OrangeTommy Orange is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, a 2014 McDowell Fellow, a recent MFA graduate and the author of a 2018 novel that inspired the New York Times to proclaim, “Yes, Tommy Orange’s New Novel Really Is That Good.”

On April 2, Orange will visit Metropolitan State University of Denver to discuss that novel, “There, There,” a multigenerational story about the lives of urban Native Americans.

The event will take place from 3:30-5 p.m. in St. Cajetan’s Event Center and is sponsored by the MSU Denver Department of English, First Year Writing, MSU Denver Department of Political Science and MSU Denver NCTE Student Affiliate club.
