This week, Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a listening session with Vice President for Student Affairs Will Simpkins, Ed.D. Simpkins is seeking ideas, comments and feedback on the future of Enrollment Management, which encompasses Admissions, Registrar, Roadways, Testing Center and Financial Aid offices.
The listening tour will take place prior to the Wednesday departure of Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management Lori Kester. Thad Spaulding, executive director of Financial Aid and Scholarships, will serve as Kester’s interim replacement beginning Thursday, in addition to his current duties. Meanwhile, Tyler Resch, director of Financial Aid Operations and Systems, will take on additional duties to ensure that staff and students are supported.
While the four key focus areas of Enrollment Management — student success, process improvement, communication and strategic enrollment management — will not shift, Simpkins seeks to better understand what talents and qualities MSU Denver faculty, staff and students desire in a future Enrollment Management leader.
Please plan to attend today from 3-3:45 p.m. in JSSB 202.
Roadrunners are invited to attend and share their ideas and feedback. Please contact Thuy Phan, executive assistant to the vice president for Student Affairs, for more information.
