Develop your professional skills and enjoy dedicated workspace through the new Affiliate Faculty Teaching Lounge.

Would you like to meet other affiliate faculty members working at Metropolitan State University of Denver? Do you want to learn more about teaching, devise classroom and course strategies or develop skills to help you as an instructor? Are you looking for a dedicated workspace? If so, join colleagues in the new Affiliate Faculty Teaching Lounge, meeting every other week on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Central Classroom 103.

At each meeting, we’ll workshop a topic and dedicate time for working on whatever project you’d like. Our next two sessions, Thursday and March 18, we’ll be talking about teaching beyond the lecture and examining alternative classroom strategies, and especially the flipped classroom.

Meetings are offered by the Center for Teaching, Learning and Design and are facilitated by affiliate faculty member Christy Craig. Join us for the entire session or drop in anytime. Snacks provided.
